Social Services Development
  • 1. Strengthen the family as a basic institution of society and as the main source of productive citizenry.
  • 2. Raise the income levels of Paniqui residents above the poverty threshold.
  • 3. Develop the productive capacity of the resident as competitive work force.
  • 4. Provide basic services to the disadvantage sectors of Paniqui.
  • 5. Enable Paniqui residents to meet their minimum basic needs on education, health and nutrition, social welfare, housing and livelihood.
Sub-Sector – EDUCATION

Specific Objectives and Strategies

By the end of July 2008:

a.80% of the schools have organized pre-elementary classes
b.80% of the schools have been served by the Health & Department Personnel
c.Participation Rate, Survival Rate, Achievement Rate and Completion Rate have increase yearly
d.Improve efficiency and effectiveness of education services like repair of school buildings and other ancillary services
e.Strengthening local sports, culture, arts and communications
f.Improving social advocacy

a.Provision of Financial Assistance to 180 poor indigent families

d.Extension of Day Care service to 1,500 pre-school children
e.To provide supplemental feeding to 250 undernourish/malnourish pre-schooler
f.To provide special services to 30 Y.O.
g.Productivity skills training to 30 house holds yearly
h.Provision for parental travel permit for 50 applicants
i.Counseling and referral services for 30 applicants
j.Training on prevention and family violence for 100 house holds
k.Productivity skills training & livelihood for 70 OSY
l.Self & social enhancement service for 245 clients
m.Disaster relief operation for 3,000 evacuees

Sub-Sector – PROTECTIVE SERVICES

Specific Objectives and Strategies

a.Documentation and Information – This pertains principally with the proper handling and protection of classified matters against laws, unauthorized disclosure, compromise and other similar instances.

b.Physical Security – This designed to safeguard Government installation, Buildings facilities and personnel against hostile entry and such as arson, theft, unauthorized entry and other losses resulting from man made and natural causes.

c.Personal Security – designed to assist the people of their loyalty to the Government especially those in the Government service.
